ABOUT

Welcome to Uncommons Farm

Uncommons Farm is a chef-driven orchard and microfarm in the Hudson Valley, growing exceptional apples and uncommon fruit, and a place to discover the landscape around you.

A WHALE IN AN APPLE TREE

We wanted a symbol connected to Hudson, and kept coming back to the whale. It references the city’s maritime history, even if it’s the last animal you’d expect to find in an orchard. A bit strange, a little playful, and local - it felt like a perfect fit for Uncommons.
